A few of my favorite pictures from the past couple of weeks...
Ross and Joey in their matching get-up during the playoffs. We're so sad the Eagles are out but how cute is that cheerleader?!
Growing Mack... he loved the snow! He was going crazy playing in it first thing this morning.

Good girl time- I was able to spend a few hours with a few of my favorite girls before all the snow blew in yesterday. We missed you, Melissa!

Reason # 172 why I love my job
I don't think I've ever blogged about what an awesome job I have, and since working is what I do most of the week I figure I'll share about it. I've had a few jobs over the past few years, some good, some not so good. I've made life long friendships with some coworkers at a couple of places, I've cried on my way to and from another job, but I'm amazingly blessed to say that at the ripe old age of 24 I have found a job that I'm convinced I was created to do. I.LOVE.MY.JOB.
I work with 75 high school students in a non-traditional environment. Most of these kids are just students who fall through the cracks at a traditional high school of 1000+ students. They are smart, creative, amazing kids who simply benefit from someone knowing there name. At the PLC (Performance Learning Center) everyone knows them. They can't hide. We call them when they aren't there to make sure we'll see them the next day. We get to know these kids, and they us, and we work with them towards graduation and whatever their next step is.
All this to say last night we had a dance. With a budget of about nothing (I think around $200 total was spent, most of that donated) we threw a winter extravaganza at our school. We had a Wii tournament, a good DJ, and a talent showcase. We probably had 10 or so students perform something in front of all of their peers. A band, some poetry, a few singers... it was great. And we had a couple of students stand up on different occasions to talk about why the PLC is such an awesome place. I had a video that I've tried to upload to no avail, but essentially these kids stood up and said what a difference the PLC has made in their lives, how they feel like they are surrounded my family everyday despite their differences, and how they feel so valued and encouraged.
How could I not love my job?!

Project 365 update
Either taking a picture a day is much harder than I imagined or my life is BORING. Maybe busy is more like it. I've managed to take pictures 7 out of the past 10 days. And they are dull. But I'm not giving up yet... (I'm also trying not to take more than one pet picture a week- but I can't help that Mack loves the camera, the dog is a natural).
Where the blogging happens...
And proof that Mack might just be cast as the next Beethoven...

Happy New Year!
It's 2009. Man, life goes by so fast. 2008 was an adventure of a year for us, and we sent it out in style around a campfire with our neighbors last night. 2009 here we come...I can't wait to see what God has in store for the Married Mulls this year.
I read about a photography challenge on another blog and decided to jump in. I'm not really into new year's resolutions...can't I decide any day of the year to change something about my life? But I thought this project would be a fun way to begin 2009. The challenge is called Project 365: How to take a photo a day and see your life in a whole new way. So essentially I'll be trying to take a picture of something every single day. I imagine I'll post some of them on here, once a week maybe...but really I'm excited to get to 2010 with a photographic journal of the year. See this website for more details if you're interested in jumping in with me:

Hope your 2009 is starting off in a great way.
